Responsibilities

While the job of a Senior Creative starts at the creative briefing, it ultimately stretches until the production phase. From there, you will stay involved as the guardian of the creative concept until the production is realised. Curious as to how this works?

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Creative, your primary responsibilities lie with receiving, creating and supervising creative projects, all with the support of the Junior Creative and any future colleagues of the creative team. For these projects, you create fitting, inspiring and creative live shows and entertainment concepts that meet the client’s request. You develop concepts through mood boards, persuasive presentations, or creative proposals. In some cases you will have the responsibility to pitch your concept for the client.

Outline of a creative project:

  • Plugged Live Shows receives a new inquiry. As the Senior Creative, you are part of the coordination team. Together, you assess new inquiries based on the required capacity and the creative vision of Plugged Live Shows;
  • Once an inquiry is accepted and the project brief is clear, you take on the role of the captain of creativity, leading and guiding the creative team or taking the project on yourself;
  • You initiate and lead creative brainstorms;
  • During the creative process you are the client’s contact person for creativity-related matters;
  • As the captain of the creative team, it is your responsibility to keep at least one eye on the set deadlines;
  • When the concept is completely developed and approved of by the client, the production process starts. The project is handed over to the production department;
  • Your role, related to this project, shifts. You work closely with the producer in charge to realize the live show and guard the creative concept;
  • You provide creative guidance throughout the entire production process regarding costumes, props, music, decor, and such;
  • As a Senior Creative, you’re expected to maintain an overview of multiple active projects, keeping in mind set deadlines, the capacity of the creative team, as well as future plans of the department;

What we ask of you:

  • You are a creative spirit, with a knack for the unordinary;
  • You enjoy a clear creative vision and the courage to show and guard it;
  • You possess management and planning skills and have shown experience within these competences;
  • You’re equipped to lead brainstorms and creative sessions;
  • You enjoy creating and designing storyboards as well as concept books that bring a concept to life;
  • You enjoy making breathtaking presentations;
  • You possess the ability to monitor the quality and execution of the performance;
  • You have a broad network and experience in the creative and the entertainment industry;
  • You’re up to date on new innovations, technologies and trends in the live entertainment industry;
  • You have strong communication skills;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and in writing;
  • You are awesome in your own unique way;

What we offer you:

  • An exciting, creative, casual, and a little quirky work environment;
  • To work at a growing and ambitious company, with many possibilities;
  • Cooperation with large international parties, which helps expand your network, including international trips;
  • Your own spot within a refurbished former monastery, within walking distance from the train station and the city centre;
  • A job among inspirational and fun colleagues, that are keen on sharing new ideas and testing them out;
  • A joint lunch break, which is incomplete without at least three rounds of Pictionary;
  • Random celebrations all year round, including but not limited to regular drinks on Friday, food-centered events (e.g. Mexican Friday, BBQ Thursday), and company outings;
  • Last but not least, a competitive salary and 25 days off. We have to stay loyal to our Brabant roots, therefore the Monday and Tuesday of Carnaval are a gift from Plugged to recover or continue the Carnaval festivities;
